Kenjiro Shinozuka

The name Shinozuka is highly respected in Japanese motorsport circles. He began his career in 1968 and, in 1976, was the first Japanese driver to take the Kenyan Safari Rally to the finish. 15 years later he became the first Japanese winner of a round of the World Rally Championship, namely the Côte d'Ivoire - Bandama Rally in 1991. After his long years of collaboration with Mitsubishi, Shinozuka is one of the most talented and experienced drivers, as well as an excellent tactician.
