The Model Series
The Mitsubishi Pajero can look back on a long and successful history in which it frequently stood on the winners' podiums of this world - in the automotive field just as much as in motorsport. Anyone who can call themselves a Pajero owner knows why they drive the car, and the drivers of the very first hour know that the Pajero, although technically and visually changed and improved, is and remains a Pajero.
It conveys that special feeling in every generation of its existence. When the Pajero first touched European soil in 1983, very few suspected what it would one day achieve. But success announced itself quickly, in the form of sales figures and racing victories. When the V20 arrived in 1991, the consistent further development was plain to see, and with it the success continued. When the Pajero V60 then appeared shortly after the turn of the millennium, it was once again equal to the demands of its time, and although it had by now gained competition on the car market, it prevailed once more. At the IAA 2001 in Frankfurt the moment had come: the Pajero Evolution was presented to a broad public for the first time. Whether it is still a Pajero is something you can decide for yourself here.
At the 2006 Paris Motor Show the V80, the new Pajero, was announced. Although the motto for its development and design was "evolution instead of revolution", 70% of all components were newly developed.
